  • How does water enter the rivers? It rains on the mountains.
  • It starts as a stream then some streams join together and they flow down the slopes until they reach the river.
  • Where does the river water reach finally? the sea.
  • How is the river useful to farmers? This water feeds the crops in the fields.
  • How does the river help the farmers in North India?
  • It helps them to grow wheat.
  • How does it help the farmers in South India?
  • It helps them to grow rice.
  • What do all do to store water of the river? They build dams.
  • How do we get electricity? From the fast flowing water of the river.
